Coach Quinney has worked with hundreds of softball players from 6 yrs old - college athletes for over a decade.  In his playing days Coach Quinney primarily played third base and shortstop. However, like most athletes, he played every position at some point except catcher.  Coach batted from both sides of the plate effectively where he hit for more power on the right side and higher average from the left.  

His oldest daughter is a Junior and D1 Outfielder at the University of Northern Colorado, his second oldest daughter is a Redshirt Freshman (ACL Surgery) and D1 Catcher/Utility at Weber State University.  His third daughter is a Senior at Basha HS who plays infield and has committed to play D1 at UNC Charlotte.  And yes, there is another one!  She is playing 10u for AZ Storm Beach! 

During instruction, Coach Quinney teaches technique, proper positioning, glove work, communication, diamond IQ, mental approach in the field and at the plate.  With hitting instruction Coach Quinney helps players develop understanding of their movements, cause and effect of ball flight and how to adjust swing path to improve directional hitting.  Additionally, Coach helps with power movements to increase exit velocity and equally important their approach and mental toughness through developing confidence.

Nichole Fry is a former Division I shortstop at Long Beach State University (2016–2019), where she was a two-time First-Team All-Big West selection and the 2019 Big West Defensive Player of the Year. She finished her collegiate career as Long Beach State’s all-time leader in runs scored and ranks among the program’s top ten in doubles, triples, hits, home runs, and RBI. A multiple-time Big West Player of the Week honoree, Nichole plans to use her high-level playing experience to guide players in all areas of the game. Now with Quinney Softball, she is passionate about building players’ confidence and well-rounded skills, with a focus on hitting, fielding, approach, and the mental aspect of the game.

Alina Quinney is a Junior at University Of Northern Colorado where she plays outfield at the Division 1 Level in the Big Sky Conference.  Alina works with hitters and outfielders as well as less experienced players focusing on fundamentals of throwing and even playing catch.

Cailin has been catching since she was 8 years old and fell in love with it immediately.  She is a gritty competitor who loves nothing more than throwing out hopeful base runners and hyping up her pitchers!  She offers hitting and catching instruction in Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek and throughout the Phoenix Valley!

Cailin loves to show what she knows through Catching Instruction!  She still plays, so she is able to show what she teaches and provide guidance through example during Catching Lessons.  She has two younger sisters and knows how to communicate and work with young aspiring catchers while coaching Softball Catching.

Makaila works well with players of all skill levels and ages from 8 and up.  Her focus is on infield with emphasis on footwork, glove work and softball IQ.  Makaila  is an infielder with Basha High School and plays all middle infield positions including first base for her club team.  She was recruited to UNC Charlotte as a middle infielder.
